40* (MLB) - Vegas Money Line NO-BRAINER (Phillies -113) 

I will take a shot here with the Phillies as a small road favorite against the Mets. I just feel the starting pitching matchup heavily favors Philadelphia in this one. The Phillies will have Zack Wheeler on the mound, who has a strong 2.31 ERA and 1.028 WHIP in his first two starts. 

The Mets will counter with David Peterson, who has to be dreading another start against the Phillies. Peterson's only start of 2021 came against Philly and he was torched for 6 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks in just 4 innings of a 8-2 loss. He also struggled against the Phillies in a start against them last year, giving up 5 runs in 2 innings. Give me the Phillies -113! 

40* (MLB) - Smart Money VEGAS STEAMROLLER (Rays -177) 

I will roll the dice here with the Rays as a big home favorite against the Rangers on Thursday. Texas got the best of Tampa Bay in yesterday's 8-3 win, but that feels more like an outlier than anything for this Rangers offense. Texas had scored just 4 runs total in their previous 4 games, getting shutout 3 times in that stretch. 

I know Josh Fleming is getting thrown into the rotation for a start, but there's every reason to believe Fleming will pitch well. The youngster made 5 starts and 2 relief appearances last year for the Rays and posted a sensational 2.78 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and posted a 25/7 K/BB ratio. Give me Tampa Bay -177!

I think we are getting a nice little discount on the Yankees as a slim -121 road favorite against the Blue Jays on Wednesday. I believe the value here stems from a couple of sub-par starts to open the season for New York starter Corey Kluber. 

Kluber only lasted 4 innings of his first start at home against Toronto, but the Yankees were able to win that game 5-3. He then lasted just 2 1/3 innings at Tampa Bay in his second outing. Most will just assume the struggles will continue, but we know that Kluber is better than what he's shown so far. 

The other big factor here is I'm confident the Yankees' offense will show up in a big way in this one. That's because Toronto is sending out Ross Stripling, who in his first two starts has allowed 7 runs on 13 hits in just 8 1/3 innings of work. I don't see it getting any better for Stripling in this outing. Give me the Yankees -121!

40* (NBA) Sharp Money VEGAS INSIDER (Nuggets -4) 

I will gladly take my chances with the Nuggets -4 at home against the Celtics. Denver is going to be extremely motivated here after losing their last two and let's not forget this team was playing as well as any team prior to their last two losses, as they had won 8 in a row and 12 of 14 overall. 

Miami is 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last 8 games, which I believe is playing into the value here with Denver. Key here is the Heat have lost 3 of 4. This is also not a good spot for the Heat, who are playing on no rest and their 3rd game in 4 nights. Denver is one of the most difficult places to play well on no rest. Give me the Nuggets -4! 

40* (NBA) No Doubt ATS B-L-O-W-O-U-T (Bulls -9.5) 

I got no problem laying the big number here with Chicago at home against the Magic, as I got the Bulls winning this one by double-digits easy. While Chicago comes in having lost 3 straight and failed to cover all 3, those 3 games all came on the road. Now they are back home and facing one of the worst teams in the league in the Magic. Orlando is in full on tank mode. 

The Magic showed some fight early on after trading away all their top players, but it's been all downhill since. They come in having lost 6 straight with 5 of the 6 defeats coming by double-digits. 

Key here is the Bulls are fighting for that 10th and final playoff spot, making this a game they simply can't afford to lose. Give me the Bulls -9.5! 

50* (NBA) - Wednesday *MAX UNIT* Top Play (Pistons +9)

I love the value here with Detroit as a near double-digit home dog against the Clippers. This just feels like the perfect spot to fade LA, as they are way overvalued right now due to winning 6 straight and 12 of 14 overall. 

The key here is the Clippers just played a nationally televised game last night against the Clippers. Will be really easy for them to not give their best effort here in the second of a back-to-back. It's also their 3rd game in 4 nights and 5th in the last 7 days. Detroit on the other hand is going to be fresh having been off the last two days. Give me the Pistons +9!
